I'm not surprised that they do evil behind the guise of good. I have doubts that this language was ever used for something else then doing evil or controlling people. Moreover, they are doing it right now, in many parts of the world. So I'm confused why are you even surprised. Even if the end outcome is evil in disguise of a blessing regarding them working for good these terms tend to lend themselves to the percieved church of good guys.The language which contradicts evil was always used by churches and/or/- politicians to do evil. such as Holy, blessing, God, heritic, prayer, faith, absolution, devout, purifying, divine and so forth. tend to be named things that contradict evil.
